Ireland is a place of many cultures, gay marriage, and a seemingly liberal attitude: but are we really a tolerant society? Not always.
The Kindness Project is a radical artistic exploration taking place in Co. Kerry, Ireland. It is an honour to be working with a group of young people who want to promote the need for more kindness and understanding in our country.
What I love about this project is that the students themselves instigated it. They identified some problems in their school and the community, and they are keen to explore ways of promoting tolerance while acknowledging difference and diversity.
To represent the fact that every change in society begins with an individual action, I designed the project logo above using the pattern of a fingerprint.
You might like to support the efforts of the students by adding to a community playlist of songs, or by getting involved at a later date. More news soon…
